Philosophy in Barrel

The Greek philosopher Diogenes lived in a Barrel, well really a jar, and gave us the Cynic philosophy. He would carry a lamp in daylight and cry out, "I'm looking for a honest man."  His response to Plato giving Socrates' definition that men are featherless bipeds was give Plato a plucked chicken and say, "Behold! I've brought you a man."

I just enjoyed a delightful romp through your recent blog postings. Your characters are so delightful, Bill. I especially like that gravity is often discarded in your compositions. It's absence frees the viewer's mind and nurtures creative possibilities. And your exaggerations are endlessly amusing. Great work!
