IF-Toy

Boy, I just would like to have the time and space to play with my toys and not worry about all the to do's.

I like your illustration and especially the way you show how you work. Compared to all the digital illustrations this feels so real. It is as if I am back at school and the students get an assignment and I peek to check the work of another classmate.
I like some counterbalance to too much digi-reliance.

.... but. You DID play with your toy, painted and drew it real spiffy like. And it's a joy to look at.
Makes me want to play too.
I like the diagonal you set the room in, and I love looking at the details on the toy.
as well, I like the girl in the sketchbook.

nice.

Every week I think I'm going thru the IF entries pretty thoroughly, and then I always happen upon someone I haven't seen. Not sure how I missed you work...I love the style, and like that you show sketches as well as the final piece.

great job Bill. I like the intricacy of the figures vs the simplicity of the background. Fun perspective and a nice effortless shadow on the right.

The boat is nicely rendered and I am looking forward to seeing it float in that bathtub.
