IF-Soaked

It seems I got stuck on "soaked" as rain and sad.  Then my own emotion seemed to soak me me on this one. (I keep telling myself that I'm in control, I am, I am, I am)  Anyway here is this week's effort. Let me know which one you like.  Thanks.

Very nice - I especially like the third one.

The third is nice, but I like that naughty little angel even better.

Great! I like the loose line on the first one, but my fave is #3!

I'm partial to #2. I'm a big fan of how you let some shapes intersect others, like the blue wave lines seen through the figure. Also, your use of transparency - like the big blue heart. This image has a story with it's small umbrella in one hand, and the water flowing through the other. Tell me more Bill!

I like them all, but especially the 2nd and 3rd ones. I really really like the spatters in the 3rd one.

I am loving the #3, #4 and #5 the most I think, but pretty much love all of them and all of them together! Very very soft the way you go about it and the results are so easily loveable!

I adore number 2 and number 4. I am new to your blog and I am liking the quick sketches you make :)

Well.
They're all good.
But numbers 3 and 4 are the best; 3 has the fellow looking much like a mounful cat which amplifies the sad mood.
Calling that angel in #4 an "angel of mercy" is very funny in a mean way, and you know he must deserve what he's getting, but you also know the angel will get her comeuppance down the road as well.

I like the rips and tears as well.

(#1 is a joy of simplicity and contour).

I love your sketches bill. I like the different aspects of being drenched. Against your will, intentionally and by heavenly intervention. I especially like the boy under the hose. The third one down is a sad an effective statement and the one at the bottom has a nice energy as well. i love the theme of the useless umbrella. These reminds me of being caught in a downpour. after a bit you just have to accept the fact that you are wet.

I like all of your drawings Bill..but for me I particularly have more feelings towards the last two...probably leaning towards no 5. as my fave with the hose/shower..I love the hand holding the pipe and there is something I love about the wetness of the green watercolour (also on the pipe.)Great blog BTW!!
