Heat

Southern California is hot and on fire today. The month has changed and for me the river of life has quickened and is pulling me furiously forward. My heart wants to hide in a quiet, still, back water and rest in the drifting images of my mind. But forward focus is now. Eyes open are needed to navigate the yet to be revealed.

Well, it appears that amidst his creation process, God has slipped his foot in with his finger and accidentally set fire to his first version of Adam. Certainly that's what it feels like outside (and inside) most all of SoCal. Things are reborn from the ashes, as Biblically was the human race. --It's just that Pope Julius II nixed this version of the creation events, and Michelangelo had to return to the drawing roof.
Or am I missing something here?

Funny, I didn't see the whole creation/Michelangelo connection until after I did the drawing. I guess some images are buried deep in us and surface all on their own. I don't think you missed a thing.
