if-Hurry

Yep! Slow down to hurry up is a good motto as the more hurried you are the more mess you'll make.  When pressed  for time I stop, take a deep breath, then try to go as fast as I can without redlining into the hurried zone. Of course the worried nervousness will try to push you past the red line, but if you can remember, just smile and thank it for its concern.  Then go forward.

Great loose drawing style! I like how you gave him a variety of sensible (and less sensible) footwear. I think one lesson might be that a large nose requires balance and sure-footedness.

What a fantastic illustration. It burst with hurry like a machine gone wild. And such wise words! Try to remember them when I'm all stressed out because I'm late and therefore in a hurry.

I like the little guy. He's just coming up with more things for the big guy to do just to watch him spin.
When the little guy gets bored, he'll leave the big guy collapsed in a heap on the ground.

hahahahahahaha

Bill, this illo is so funny – and so true. It captures perfectly how we end up running ourselves into the ground by being distracted with our hurries. Love the play of scale too. Nice interpretation of the word!
